Mamata announces new subdivision for Farakka, Suti & Dhuliyan; 12 crores to be allocated for health centers

Currently on a two-day visit to Murshidabad district, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made significant developmental announcements and delivered a strong political message during a government assistance distribution program in Suti on Tuesday afternoon. The event was held at the Suti Chhabghati Khudiram Das School premises.   

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister announced the formation of a new administrative subdivision for the people of Suti, Dhulian, and Farakka. "A new sub-division office is being set up in Murshidabad for the people of Suti, Dhulian, and Farakka," she declared, a move aimed at improving governance and accessibility for residents of these areas.

Further emphasizing her government's focus on the district's development, Banerjee detailed substantial financial allocations. "In addition, Rs 12 crore will be allocated for the construction of 175 health centers in Murshidabad," she stated. She also revealed, "A total of Rs 718 crore worth of projects have been planned for the development of Murshidabad."

Alongside these developmental announcements, the Chief Minister issued a stern warning against divisive forces. "Don't be influenced by the BJP or any fundamentalist organization," she cautioned the assembled crowd. In a passionate appeal for unity, she made an emotional statement, saying, "Instead of dividing yourselves, separate my throat from my body. I will be happy with that."
